This lovely set came to me unused - napkins uncut and the cloth unfinished.  It comes to you with hand stitched hems, freshly laundered, ironed and ready for the dining table.  I do not have a provenance for this cloth but my inclination is to date it before WWII for no other reason than it was sold unfinished.  The linen damask is of very nice quality - supple with a wonderful sheen.  The cloth measures 72 x 90 and the 12 napkins are 21.5" x 22".  The color is bright white.
