Heavy, smooth double damask linen; overall woven design of roses in a check pattern; border patterns in bright deep golden yellow and clear blue - both colors very saturated.  This set was purchased from England and arrived with original sizing.  I washed, starched and ironed it - ready for the table. The design is art deco but I am unable to date it.  This is a very rich luncheon set. The colors, design, and sheen of the linen are wonderful.  Cloth 52" x 53"; 6 Napkins 13.5" x 14.5"
